Spark testing, also known as spark leak detection, is the most commonly used integrity damage detection technology for impermeable geomembranes. It is widely applied in impermeable projects such as municipal solid waste landfills, hazardous waste storage yards, wastewater treatment tanks and tailings ponds to locate pinholes, scratches, weld defects and damage holes in geomembranes.
